Clarke 130 TE Welder and generator

I'm wanting to obtain a generator to power some lights and my Clarke 130 TE Welder, but need some advice on what to buy.
I have a 40 foot container on a storage site to which I want to start to restore my classic car in, the only problem is here is no power in there. I went to machine mart to obtain some advice on the best Clarke generator to run my Clarke welder, I was told a 5 kva would run it, however I will be wanting lights on at the same time.

Could somebody point me in the right direction for the right type and size of generator that will cope with the welder and some lighting?

Welcome to the forum, I am sure some one will come along soon, but if you are restoring a car from a container, as well as lights and your welder, perhaps you may need a bit of warmth as well so a few KW of heat might bot go amiss.

So would suggest you look at around 8KW if possible.

I was thinking of gas heating in there but yes may consider an 8 kva one

It should last at least 12 months, slightly cheaper one here

I want one that is going to be reliable robust and will last, so these are ones to avoid i take it?
