Hi all,
Apologies for my first post being one of wanting, been browsing the forums here for a few nights and it seems the best resource for my DIY welding needs.
My problem lies with my clarke 120e mk2. I have been given this unit from a friend who`s dad moved to america a number of years ago (~7 years with no use)
I cleaned the rollers and also wound the wire on so the machine is pulling clean through (it wasn`t pulling through correctly initally).
Each time i now try to get the wire to feed, it is blowing the electrics in the house. The wire motor appears to fed for a fraction of a second and then trips.
It doesn`t arc anymore since it was tripped.
Earlier on tonight it got one weld pool going but unfortunately the wire welded itself to the tip
Since then i had the wire feed issues and now i can`t get it to feed without tripping.
Any ideas guys,
Thanks in advance ,
ollie
