Hello all.
This is my first post and im a pure novice when it comes to mig welders.
So here goes:I bought a seccond hand Mig-Clarke 105en Turbo. When i bought it this came with no wire apart from the old wire that was left in the feed to the torch and nothing on the spool. When i pressed the trigger the wire feed motor turned and the fan was opperating.I kept the mig in the garrage for a few weeks and today decided to buy some wire and tips to match.I removed the old wire and before I put the new spool on i decided to test if the trigger would work again.I pressed the trigger and nothing happened. The fan is spinning but not the wire feed.I took the trigger appart to look at the switch etc.I found that there was no power to the switch hence nothing happening.
Iam wondering if damp has dammaged something and made this useless.Any ideas what could be wrong please ?
