Hi all. Apologies if this isn't in the right section.
I'm looking for a clamp which can be used to telescope 1" 12SWG to 3/4" 10SWG.
I've tried the mountain bike quick release type ones and don't really like them. I don't really want a clamp that pushes on one side of the inner tube either i.e. Drilling through the outer tube and threading it then a screw to lock it. Reason being is it needs to be adjusted often and this clamp will mark and eventually warp the inner tube. What I have seen but for the life of me I can't find them is similar to a hose pipe design where a plastic insert goes inside the outer tube with an outer thread on the bottom with cuts in it, you slide the inner tube inside this insert (might have to be smaller inner tube now or bigger outer) then there is a twist grip nut that goes over the top and as you tighten it the plastic insert squeezes the inner tube. This would be perfect but need to be cheapish or some other idea. Thanks all.
