Circlip pilers

I'm after a good quality set of internal/external circlip pliers. Not fond of the ones with changeable jaws; rather have a set of individual pliers.
Not for regular use, but rather have a decent make that junk.
Any recommendations?

knipex do a set of 4 for 45 quid if there owt like there snips and pliers there all i use

I asked this very question on LR4x4 some time ago, the answers were mainly, Knipex, Teng or Britool.

Another vote for knipex,do you have any sizes in mind though Paul,on the larger clips I find the ratcheting pliers very useful,prob 75mm plus though....

Have a set of baco at work with interchangeable bits and they seam to survive ok

Think we have the same set at work Mk ,discontinued through rs ....but very good......BAHCO

That's the ones. A lot of baco and Britool stuff seams to be changing at the moment. I had heard that them have been bought out

The Bahco is a great set with a ratchet on the largest size pliers,I've had the same pattern prob the mid size for 20years ,still going strong,don't know what make they are ,£25 back then...

Have used Bluepoint Snap on the ones with internal external by unscrewing pivot & reversing blades they are OKish the Knipex are good like their cutters & pliers, had a pair of Snap off lever cutters costing £70 15 years ago did not last 12 months cutting 3mm stainless rod (blades pocketed after first cut) 3 sets of blades later gave up tried numerous other makes then bought Knipex £35 3 years ago still cutting like demons, the cut bit of rod will fly 2030 Ft our other fitter has had his 5 years & says still cutting OK

That's getting on for half a mile! bet you get some exercise collecting the bits

I bought a set 8 Toolzone, 7" & 13" inner & outer for around £25, quite suitable for my needs, had no problems at all. Not Snap On quality, but do just the same job for me.
