Chuck ID and possibility to change?

Kind of a repost from another thread, but im wondering if anyone knows about this chuck -

and, more specifically, if it would be possible to change it to something that would hold a 9.5mm dia shank?

Open the jaws up and see whether there's a screw going into the spindle, if there is it's a screw-on (often 1/2" UNF) and the screw in the middle's left-hand (don't ask me how I...)

Probably smaller than 1/2" unf on a chuck that size... some say the thread size on the body.

Best bet is take it off, and see if its male or female thread and what size it is, then see what options are available.

Open it up and see if theres a screw inside... remove that, then pop a big allen key in the chuck and tap it sharply anti clockwise (probably) with a mallet.
