Chrome pipe

I am looking for advice on where I could get the following made or if anyone can think of something suitable I can use off the shelf.


I have a wall mounted bar shower and where the threaded water connections come out through the tiles, I need some sort of cover to hide them. The usual conical covers you get for this purpose don’t quite fit so what I am after is 2 pieces of polished chrome (or that effect) pipe essentially, 60mm long, 28mm diameter externally, 26mm internal.


Any idea of where could machine these up for me reasonably cheaply or if there is something out there that would do?

Overseas, I have used chrome tubes cut to length from a toilet paper roll holder for spacers over exposed pipes; the kind of paper holder where you have tubes which slip together with a spring inside.

Another option for chrome pipe is to look for an old appliance handle such as the one pictured. Think this was from an old steam cleaner; got it for nothing, to use for poking the burn barrel.

Have you considered mirror polished stainless Andy? Would be easier to source and look comparable if not identical.

Good idea regarding the toilet roll holder - will have a look and see if theres anything about.

Stainless would be perfect but cant seem to find it. Had a look on eBay but couldn't find thin enough wall. Any idea where I could get a small quantity?
