I've been looking for a new mill for about 18 months to replace my old column mill. This came up, so thought I would give it a go. I'm not entirely sure what it is, its got a Christen badge on the side, but the column is stamped Aciera. I think it maybe a re-branded early Aciera F3? Its in pretty good nick for its age and very nicely made. Someone has made a bad job of fitting a DC motor to the power table feed, not sure if I'll convert it back or make a better job of the install.
Mill's are like buses, I've spent 18 months looking for one and then 2 days after committing to this mill, someone offers me a Tom Senior with loads of Tom Senior accessories (fixed head, slotting head, s-type head, overarm, indexing head, rotary table, vice and a fair bit of tooling). So now I have 3 mill's. I'll post some photo's of the TS when I pick it up next weekend. Not sure which I will be keeping yet.
