Thanks I have bought it if I dont use it I can always sell it onI would say they have different uses. I have both and they get used for jobs as required. I wouldn't be without my bandsaw (s!) or my chop saw![]()

And you are less likely to need a fire extinguisher.Bandsaw is slower and much more civilised. If you're not in a rush it's a much nicer way to work.
