Chinese TIG torch adaptor required M16 x 1.5 to 3/8 BSP

I got myself a quite nice lightweight WP9 torch off Aliexpress, but it has a M16 x 1.5 (I think) nut on the end of it rather than the normal 3/8 BSP I need it to have. I can't seem to find an adaptor for this anywhere. Anybody know where I could get one? I've scoured ebay with no luck, but I might be searching for the wrong thing as I don't really know what the right search term is.

Another option is to chop off the connector and crimp on the right one, but I don't have the special crimping tool for this. Is this possible without it?

It's a job to do to re fit another union on there as it must be fitted to the powercable probably by silver soldering,leaving the hole exposed for gas to travel through then the outer cable needs pulling back over the lot and crimping round the barb.
Making an adapter would probably be a more simple thing to do if you have a lathe.

That looks promising. I've ordered one, hopefully it'll be what I need.

If it all works out, I'll post a review of the torch as I'm sure there are people on here who are looking to replace their bulky WP26 torches.

Notches in the nut flats makes me believe the 3/8 bsp thread could be left handed.

Yeah I'd expect it to be in the listing but you never know.

Correct Richard the notches are describing that the unit is left hand thread

Notch in hydraulic fittings usually signify that they are metric threads.
