Chinese mig welder fuse

Just watch the review of this welder. Looks reasonable for the money. But interesting way round not fitting a 16A plug by the manufacturer!

Typical Chinese can't even bodge a fuse properly.
Don't they know you are supposed to drill through the end caps pass the fuse wire through then solder the end back to caps?
On a more serious note in the video, he said the wire should be good for 16A, a wire of that diameter should be good for around 60+Amps.

That’s the same as the fuse that came in my ifl from the factory the only difference is the soldering is neater on my fuse

its not just a 16 amp that's just the wire plus the 13 amp fuse =29 AMP

Stuff I got from China had a Schuko plug and an adaptor not a UK plug. You could pull the ends off a fuse and put 30 amp wire in it to bump it up a bit.

its not fuse wire that its a bit of 1.omm copper wire. the guy or dealer who sold it to you would of done that. and it hasn't been cleaned or fluxed properly and badly soldered

I thought the correct way was to swap out the live pin for a neutral pin

Funny thing is i unsoldered took fuse apart nothing in the fuse no sand no fuse wire.
