Chinese Laser cleaning machines, are their prices now reasonable?

Dear Friends,
This is my first post. Hello to everyone !!
Time to time, I have been looking at their prices at Alibaba. Apparently, there are so many laser cleaning machines listed at seemingly rather interesting prices comparing to what they were years ago.
So, I am wondering if anyone actually bought a Chinese machine and effectively using it.

My friend '' bought '' one from the web a couple of months ago , very long story cut short PayPal refunded his money the whole thing was a scam ,,,,
not saying thats always the case , but be careful .

If it looks too good to be true ,,,,, it usually is.

I've been following a YouTube channel called "Motorcycle Adventures", where currently numerous videos have been posted of Pavlin's travels through Turkey. Shows some truly great sights in your city and the beautiful countryside. Well worth watching.

Although I suppose that depends on what affordable means to you?

Cheap, pin-spot ones that will just about clean a screw head are 20 grand.

The ones you see in the Facebook videos are £200,000>>>

It's a good scam as it's pretty hard for Joe Public to find out a "real" price for one of those things.
You see the advert and it seems like it would be a cracking tool for £1250 (or whatever they are trying to sell them for)

You can't tell that it's "too good to be true" because you can't find the real price on Google so you get the credit card out anyway....

I'm sure the Chinese will get these down to a price to suit hobby users at some point but when they do the more reputable sources like ebay and lidl will be flooded with them.
They are not a stock item in any of the UK industrial supplies dealers yet so hobby prices are still a fair way off and anything you see advertised thats not POA is certainly a scam.

Although, if you have a decent credit card and they let you use it to pay with then order one up and let us know what happens.
Just don't spend any more than you are happy to loose.

As far as I understand from your mess that there is not yet a reasonably priced machine in the market.
I guess the ones which advertised at Alibaba are probably the lowest power machines to attract people but the high power machines ( 1000 watt and upwards) are probably priced heavily ( 50.000 USD ++ ) And the top of that, without an actual user’s experience and feedback with a certain machine it could easily be a wrong investment. Plus, buying such a machine from China without an established local service can definitely be a gamble.
Over here, afaik there are couple of places operating these machines but I think they are the low power machines. I will find out.

I have seen quite a few at Alibaba. That was the only source seemed reasonable BUT they are probably for low power machines.

Yes but I think they all have the handheld handgun attached to the main unit which is a pretty large machine.

Absolutely true. The ones at Alibaba is not very cheap but as I mentioned above, even the reasonable looking prices are for low power machines.

Istanbul is a nice city, Bosphorus, Bazaar, old city etc very beautiful but it was much nicer when it was not over populated with the ugly modern buildings.
The rest of the country, especially the North, West and South coasts of Turkey are really really nice and offer a lot in terms of tourism. Food is great too

I was thinking of a pricing in the range of 10.000 USD for at least a 1000 watt machine. I guess it is still a dream.
I fully understood your comments but I wouldn’t spend anything without an extensive feedback from an actual user. Plus, I would at least expect to have a service in or around EU and a proper guarantee to protect my investment.
I have just noticed that I didn’t mention to purpose of the machine. I am mainly planning to use a Laser Cleaning machine to remove paint and rust from bodyshells in house as I have a workshop for professionally preparing and restoring old and young timers, rally cars etc. Escorts, Fiats, BMWs, 911s etc.
