What are they like for service/quality etc folks?

I've been after a 3 in 1 sheet metal brake (formit) for a while now, was warned off the green version by the company beginning with 'w' a while back.

The Chester site are listing the 30" version at a very low price compared to most other suppliers, and being down the road from me it would also save me nearly £70 postage if I could collect it from them.

It's for work on cars and I'd like to have a shot at making some tool box drawers etc,

Especially as the equivalent machine from Bailey on Ebay is over three times the price.

I have read some bad reviews of various versions of these machines and some ways in which they can be improved. For the offer price I'd say it's an excellent start and has potential.

My thoughts exactly,

The staskeys version is £500, and there are a few others at a similar price.

Well, I got it

All works well, nicely made, and the staff at Chester were very friendly and helpful. Even helped me load the 138kg fully assembled formit into the boot of my mk2 golf.

And yes it fitted

I'll take some pics tomorrow when I have time to play with it a bit.

Oh, and the Chester showroom is awesome, I could have easily parted with £50k on kit, some really nice lathes and mills on display.
