Seemed like an easy job,
two screws pull the probe out of the dedicated plastic guide tube... But I can't get the new one (or the old one) fully in. When it gets to within a foot of the thermostat unit it clunks to a stop somewhere inside the freezer. Has anyone got round this? I have a long section of torch liner that fits a treat but it stops at the same point. I've read online that it is supposed to terminate on the back wall but there seems no way of getting at anything. All I have is the smallish compressor/thermostat access panel on the side and the underneath which has no access to the insulated 'box'. Everything seems to be made in one piece.
