Cheap winch

Shame it didnt lift three times that, could have made use of one.

Need to shift a couple of sub 3/4 tonne lathes, small mill, driller, little cnc lathe etc.

Hello, i work for lidl and have already tested these products.

With 'parkside' stuff (einhell bavaria is the manufacture) some of the stuff is pretty good, some of it is terrible, thankfully these winches seem to be on the good side.

The gear system and brake is very secure and solid and i especially like the control pod....very well put together.
The only real question is how decent the motor is.....it seems pretty powerful and you could probably lift 300kg (it's rated 250 using the pulley) under load things tend to burn out easily.
I'm sure it's perfect for garage stuff but i doubt it'd be useful for semi-industrial settings!

Btw it comes with a 180 degree rotating steel boom that clamps onto a 48cm pole..... so you can use that on a scaffolding structure.

Just to update i actually decided to buy one of these today.

I thought it would make moving engines and heavy components that bit easier and for £50 it's not going to break the bank.

I am very pleased with the performance and the boom it comes with is fantastic.....it is exactly 1/2 the width of my middle bay so the winch sits in the centre and would be perfect for lifting small engines etc.

I tested it by lifting a honda CBR600 frame and engine (around 150kg at a guess?) at the end of the boom, brilliant, nice accurate control.

If you havn't already got one of these you will probably struggle now i'm afraid, my store sold out very quickly today.

I got a similar one from Neto some yrs ago, still works bril.
