Cheap Welding Helmet

Hi All,
this is the first post!

I have just bought a Cebora 140 A from ebay that came with an Energas mostly full cylinder. I bought this machine thanks to the various different reviews I have read here, as I understand it represents a quality product rather than some of the other rubbish out there.

However, after shelling out (too) much I am looking for a really cheap automatic darkening welding helmet. I have seen a couple on Ebay, but the link below refers to a Falcon Helmet from an Ebay supplier called Lilacsusan

(I am new to welding, although did do a course years ago, but am not likely to be a high user). However, I need to get something that will kick-start me on the road as I have a few small holes in the floor of my Alpine I would like to do after I have practiced. )

Alternately, if there is something out there thats good but cheap as chips please let me know.

Well that is cheap and cheerful,although I bought a cheapo mask also offa Fleabay it certainly wasn't that cheap.

Very similar to my cheapo from the same place, had it since last October and it gets used every day...never had any problem with it except the headband works a bit loose by the time the day is up...solved that with a bit of tape.

Got it from ebay but not that seller, it was the cheapest I could find an similar to the one you have shown

I would have think about solar powered charger type.

If the battery/s fail you'd have to canablise the panel to replace the battery and for that price you can be sure the battery/s are not decent ones.
