The website is useful in that it has prices on, but I don't have any experience with hydraulics, or them, so can't judge the prices or quality of what's offered.

£645 is cheapest so far with couple of firms still to get back. It's a three bank duel direction 24vdc control so not a run of mill job. Flow fit wanted £901.51 but for normal stuff they might be ok

Depending where in Suffolk you are ,Try Stennets at Swilland Nr Ipswich,they have all sorts of bits and bobs there

We buy various rams at work for projects like log splitters and stuff,if you need anything pricing up or parts profiled give me a shout ,can probably get them done through work for you,we also always have various offcuts of steel about if you need short bits instaed of sourcing whole lengths.And can also make up hydraulic pipes.

yeah they can be quite expensive, i had a look around online it just takes ages finding something cheaper but someone reccomended me to ***** so i just gave em a call i dont know if they'll do what u want but they'll prob give u some decent info

Have you seen the French sellers kits on Ebay? They seem very cheap for what they are with all parts and laser cut steelwork. May be an idea to try an adapt one of them to tow along.

Funny, that lot are only about 20min from here. And a quite unusual outfit to supply kits. Not something the French do.
Luckily, I have a local friend with a decent digger I can borrow. Otherwise I might be tempted.
