Aye but the battery and charger and a cheap drill for pilot bits are handy. Usually have at least two drills and a driver out when working. Saves time swapping out.it isn't the brushless one with a metal chuck. u get what u pay for .not badly priced for diy use though![]()
Be aware some of the B and Q (Possibly others too?) stuff isn't always compatible with other models in manufacturers ranges. Don't know if that's the case with this but I think they did it with Makita stuff - they used a different battery to the rest of the range and a few people got caught out thinking they would be able to swap batteries with existing kit they had.
You can. Something I should look into. Still got a.few old nicad dewalts kicking around.Did I read somewhere that you can get adapters to fit Lithium batteries to the older model DeWalt 18v drills?
Got a little drill and driver non lxt that have been hammered everyday for two years. Im hard on my tools. Never missed a beat. Even launched one outta a first floor window.Aye .. and I'm one of those people! the B&Q makita was ok untill it did some work then the fast speed stopped working.
