I can't see the seller honouring it TBH. £2-300 scrap value with a £1600 DRO fitted and that sub-table has to be worht £500 at least.

I could get that shifted no bother, but not in the next 2 days, He says he will be taking the DRO off and selling it separately.
As said i doubt he would honour a low bid, On the other hand he may be desperate for the space?

I have won auctions like that and had the bid cancelled and refunded. When I complaiend to eBay they told me nothing they could do as the seller said it was listed elsewhere. You can't force someone to sell.....

I had an auction Canceled by Ebay as I said the Lathe was listed elsewhere. Which turned out to be bad as people wanted to buy it, by the time they contacted me
I had sent it off to be made into Fray Bentos cans. I gather it's in the terms that you can't advertise elsewhere, however you can say you have mislaid it and stop the auction.
As to would they let it go for 20 notes, wouldn't surprise me if they did as you have to go and remove it.

It would replace my pillar drill nicely.
