Cheap Concrete Pokers

I'm thinking of purchasing something similar to the item below which is priced at £40 or thereabouts, I wasn't expecting them to be so cheap. Has anyone used them and are they up to the job? It wouldn't be in constant use, just the odd concreting job now and then and would save me the cost of hiring one for the day.

I bought a Chinese poker with a copy Honda engine....£120......still using it after 10 years....
use is more than dIY but not prof........
get it out dust it off, fresh fuel and off she goes....have a 240 sq,m barn floor to do very soon.....invaluable....

unless it's about 2000 watts with bearings to suit don't bother...
or use it once and if it does the second job u've cracked it....
NEVER like electrickery near water.....still give me the heeby jeebies when using a pond pump.....hahaha........

I bought one and it was great. For £40 you cannot go wrong. The cable is a bit short mind you but that’s no issue in the grand scheme of things. I poured 2 ton of concrete and used that quite a few times. Cleaned up and put away for the next time

I've got one of those ones too, works great

once when I needed it I couldn't find mine... walked over to the build base hire shop over the road to see how much theirs are.. £7 a day... so I hired one... it was no batter than the cheap chinese ebay one

(side note, when I used the hire one for a few hours and took it back they wanted £70.... said there was 10days min. hire... they hadn't told me that before, I left £7 on the counter, told him he told me £7 and then walked out)
