cheap chinese indicators and SPC outputs?

Anyone know about such things. I want to collect some measurements on a computer
and an indicator with an spc output looks promising. They never say they have SPC and the
sellers don't seem to know, but they seem to have covers that look like they may be
hiding a plugole.

I've got some from arceurotrade and the usb connectors are for connecting to the display module, but not for data measurement.

20 years ago we were using mitutoyo verniers that were plugged into a computer for spc measurement

I have considered a scale, but I would be making a gauge out of it so I might as well start with a gauge.
You should be able to get the data out of the scales, I think I read about connecting to scales on a diy dro
group or it even may have been on here?
I was hoping not to have to open a gauge up and experiment, but I may well do that.
