looking at next years holiday, and need somewhere within 100ish miles of leeds that isnt to expensive.
needs to family friendly as got 6 kids between 3 and 13.
any recomendations?

scotch corner truck layby? its got a shop and toilets. remeber going to pickering forest as a kid lots to do with walks and bike rides in the forest the site is run by the forestry commision

Slightly more than 100 miles from leeds (124) but a good family only site, nice pub with an indoor play area for the kids (which is free)

Spent most of my childhood here, not the cheapest place but certainly not a tap toilet site (and not full of ********s)

Join the caravan and camping club for £39 ish and it will get you a book of sites all over UK and a monthly magazine with holiday meets from £6 a night. The membership pays for itself if you use it and the sites are good with clean facilities and sensible rules like no traffic or noise after 11.00pm.

do you shop at Tesco's?
you can use your tesco's club card vouches and stay at park resorts, there are a few on the east coast between hull and whitby. We had a week at withensea (not much in the village we did a lot of miles that week) and just had a week in the isle of white, all for free.
