Chassis Rails

Is it possible to buy new original rails from anywhere or do you just have to salvage them off a scrapper, make your own out of chassis channel, box section or sheet metal etc etc?

I have never done it before so unsure what the best way to go about it is.

Can anyone suggest the best materials to use and where to source them to build up new rails.

36 X 2.1/4in X 2.1/4in

36 X 2.1/8inX 1.5/8in

48 X 1.1/4in X 2in

48 X 1.1/2in X 2.1/5in

48 X 1.3/4in X 2.1/2in

i think the first number is length, 36 0r 48 inches long
