Channels and support frame

[Hitch]

Three days on site this week, installing some channels for pipework support arms to fix to, and a support frame for a chiller unit to sit on.

I did the support frame, minus the ladder, but installed it all.

Put the channels up yesterday. 7 in total. 5.5m off the ground.
(The ones half way up the legs)

And the frame today. Bit of a squeeze.
Built layed down in the main building, then lifted into the plant room on its back, then stood up. About 100mm to play with. Didnt really want to knock the single skin block wall down

Did you let him out of the cab? Or did you weld the door shut before he left yard?

Nice work hitch I was just wondering why you put in the cross support at an angle and why they are not running vertically at an angle
it also puzzles me how the Brians of this world survive into old age as they tend to do must be Lady luck

Job looks reet!
Presume the kick flat is set up off the frame because there are flooring plank to lay - 50mm thick?
That rung has landed right in the wrong place - your foots going to land on the horizontal member before the rung!
Trust thats not you Hitch, standing in the crush zone as its being hoisted to the vertical!
What section size did you use? - Looks fairly heavy wall SHS going by the radius on the corners

Hes stood a lot furher back than it looks, but yeah, i wouldnt have stood there.

Box legs 6mm thick.

As i said Paul, i didnt make the ladder. Its far enough away not to cause a problem, more luck i think.

Kicker spaced up to allow for open mesh floor, you can just see it in one of the pics.

Ah i see the lionweld mesh. Still a gap under kick flat!
The hoops on the ladder - i know its not yours, but where the rolled flat meets the straight section returning back to the stiles - is that a welded joint or bent from one piece?

I think they are one bit of flat, rolled then pressed back.
