Changing Torch Shroud To Gasless One?

This is all new to me, but I'm wondering if I can change the gas shroud on my MIG torch for a gasless one? I discovered by a bit of research that it's a MB15 size one.

Gasless just use the rubber/plastic covered things

Looks like it just replaces the silver shroud.

Dont get the rubber/plastic ones they will melt and or burn,use a gas one,cut it back say 10-15mm fron the top, cut slots across the top and pinch them in close to the tip,doesn't have to look pretty,afterall its really not doing much,in fact all it does is protect the gas holes

You don't but the tip gets covered in spatter, quickly.

you dont,but its kind of old habit so to speak,when you use gas a lot then switch over to FC,you put a nozzle on :laughing:

Personally I just leave the normal nozzle on and use tip dip... occasionally will bang the crud out on the side of the table, if I forget to dip it frequently enough I may need to jam the mig pliers up there to dislodge a chunk
