I'm a hobby welder, for car restoration. I'm using an Albee cylinder, which has a large metal handle shroud at the top with the regulator sitting in it. The gas tap is a curved plastic thing that turns through 90deg from full off to full on, and the regulator has only one gauge which gives cylinder pressure only. I'm using an Rtech Tig which came with a dual-gauge regulator, and a vertical ball-gauge flowmeter, which I would quite like to use instead, to give me a much more accurate idea of the gas flow. None of this kit will fit inside the metal handle at the top of the cylinder.
Is there any way of removing the handle or changing this over, or do I need to go to a different type of cylinder from the supplier?
Thanks,
Roger
