Hi chaps. I rescued a Cebora Pocket25 from being dumped.
Obviously it wasn’t working but I’ve gone through it and fixed all the things I found wrong like the air switch, PCB etc.
Now I have air at the torch, one of the contractors pulls in when I press the trigger but the other contractor does not pull in.
Now to my question. I have dismantled the torch tip and the nozzle cover is spring loaded and I can see two contacts in the torch where the cover makes contact with them.
This is a drag torch so will it only work when the cover is depressed?
I assume this will be a safety feature so that you can’t produce a plasma jet and sever a finger or two. Is that correct? Thanks.
