Ceramic Vs Zirconia sanding belt

Hey guys,
I've been using Zirconia (blue) sanding belts on my power file but I do feel like I eat through them for sport they are from amazon so probably cheapie ones anyway. But im wondering if anyone has feedback on ceramic belts for quality and longevity?

The problem with abrasives is they vary in quality quite a bit

Ceramic when they seem worn out dress them with a diamond dresser to break the grit back and they will keep going.

I put a ceramic belt on my linisher, it's also coated with something for lubrication, presumably stearate.

It is quite simply remarkable how much work it's done without showing a great deal of wear.

I have a 4kw 150mm belt sander, and the 3m Cubitron belts I use really kick the snot out of other brands.
Yes they are more expensive per piece, but if they last longer, and remove more metal as well in the end they work out cheaper then the cheaper versions.
I see the same difference with slitting discs or grinding discs or flap wheels on my 125mm grinders, the Cubitron ones remove more metal for longer, thus I use less of them.

At work we have Flexovit flap wheels and cutting disks, they do not last nearly as long as the 3m Cubitron ones, tested them side by side.

Ive just bought 20 x 5" Zirconia flap wheels and they are rubbish...don't last 2 mins and they are finished cant think of the make atm but they are a branded name and being a quid dearer than my normal types i cant say ime too happy.
