.....year old machine...
It's a Cemont 150 AC/DC ArcoTech
The welding on striking up a pool is created but not a substantial one as if there's a lack of power...
We've checked the obvious but not identified anything obvious
Any suggestions would be appreciated

It's coming up to 20 years old.....
I'm able to strike an arc but it just pools without much power despite power being turned up
I've checked the obvious to no avail.....
Has any one had a similar problem.?
More important, if they did,how did they solve it

Is your welder like this one:
If so, the fault could be due to loose connections at the input transformer, or a failure in the thyristor ( SCR ) power control circuit.
hi i have used CEM T150 ac/dc TIG/MMA welding machine and i have issye with connect to power supply
