Hi,
I will be starting to take my Mg Midget back to bare metal over the next few weeks as this seems to be the best option due to the amount welded repairs and new panels fitted.
I will be using Cellulose from Jawel paints but I'm not sure if I will need to use an Etch primer prior to the coats of High build primer? I spoke to Jawel about this and they recommended i use a 2k activator to mix with the primer, I'm not keen on this as I will not be using an air-fed mask.
Also, what sort of timeframe do i need from stripping the old paint to filling, blocking and the first coat of primer before surface rust appears, is it days or weeks?
Thanks,
Dave.
