cellolose paint and zinc phosphate oxide

Hi everybody
I'm new hear.
I want to paint my pedicab. I bought zinc phosphate oxide because I read that it works very well as a rust protection. I also bought cellulose paint and put on the top of ZPO. Part of my bike is ok and in some places ZPO started to react with cellulose paint and came off the frame leaving a bear metal.
So my question is: can cellulose paint be put on top of zinc phosphate oxide ?

cellulose thinner is a very strong thinner if it brought off the zinc easily then I would say not.

Before I sprayed my bike with ZPO I disollved ZPO in...cellulose.
What kind of paint is good for zinc phosphate oxide?

not sure as I don't use it, someone may have an answer, there are a lot on here using 2k and epoxy primers you can also use acid etch

I've been spraying zinc phosphate primer and an enamel top coat without any problems

Thanks Spooner, but I'm just amateur. I don't have gears and I don't know how to paint with 2k.
harryb94 is enamel and cellulose paint the same?

I'm not that clued up on paint but they're a different thing as far as I'm aware

yeah enamel would have less angrey solvents in it , so less likely to react

rustoleum combi is avail in 100s of colours and is pretty friendly to use , doesnt tend to react to most sound surfaces
