I've just acquired a Cebora Pocket Mig (883) from a friend who is giving up welding due to ill health . It was not working but just wanted a good service ,new wire , liner ,tip ,and blow out of muck from it's internals . I've given it a good try out and it's not a bad little welder. But as it's not got a cooling fan i was wondering if anyone has fitted one. I thought this may make it more durable as i will be lending it out and to someone that is'ent quite as sympathetic to tools as me.
I was thinking of using a 120 mm 230v AC fan. Very similar to the types fitted into computers ( although these are usualy 12v DC ) . The other thing is the plastic cover that go's over the wire reel and feed is missing ,has anyone got a spare one, going spare?.

.You must weld 24 hours a day. Is it bolted to the floor ?
