cebora car 30 torch

hi need a new torch for a cebora car 30 will one of these work Plasma-Cutter-Consumables-Spare-Torch-Head-PT-31-Cut-40
you have to push the tip of mine on to the steel to start cuting have been told that a new starparts head is £140 seems alot to me !!!

No the PT-31 torch is for pilot arc.

Mine is the same type, has broken once ad previous owner repalced it. When it failed again, he flogged it on ebay. Turned out to be wet air corroding the torch.

got a torch from shop-river on ebay plasma still didnt work so took to local cerbora agent they say torch is wrong i ned torch that you push down on to work to start the arc to cut is this HF or HS !

You will need a push-down torch. Most common are the Tramifet type.

My Century/ProArc/Lincoln/Marquette (all the same) use the same type.

£140 is reasonable for a torch head. Mine was replaced by a previous owner and he said it cost near $300. This one was stuck (reason he sold it.) I just whacked it hard and it loosened up. I figured I had nothing to lose on the old head if it broke. Works fine ever since.

I get the feeling he had water in his air causing the torch to jam up.
