Looking for a decent smallish CCTV system, 3 - 4 cameras, fair picture quality, but small easily concealable cameras. Ideally in a DIY type kit.

Any of the sparks/members recommend anything?

Have a look at CPC, http://cpc.farnell.com/ they do quite a range of systems to suit all budgets.

I bought a fair amount of CCTV from a company I'm B#gger if I can remember the name (their in Chesterfield) of the Box is made by AlienDVR, and the cameras are by Nite devil. Full 25fps on all 4 channels

Tbh it depends what you want.

If you want an expandable system then dont get a kit. Get a DVR and a psu then you can choose each camera for the job. Not every camera works in every location.
Even just stuff like lens size for the field of view can be changed then. If you get a kit you get what the manufacturer wants to sell you. and if you want extra cameras just stick them on.

Any standard camera will talk to any standard dvr.

Theres loads of decent cctv suplliers on-line.

They are dead easy to install.

I hoping to set up a sytem to. How far will £200\300 get you for one good night cam 15m ish and a box that will rec movement. Any ideas plz?
