Caught in a honey trap

I got caught in a honey trap today .... your know the sort, " Honey can you just do this for me "

13:00 hrs. it's 29.5 oC , tee shirt wringing wet with sweat sweat dripping off my eyebrows on to my glasses & I'm trying to concentrate in make a sort of precision syringe to suck up molten casting wax then inject it into a mould to make wax forms for lost wax casting in brass & monkey metal

" It won't take long my love , Oh , I need them for tomorrow morning " . Make seven labels in stainless steel ( a cut up dish washer tank & engrave them with Bonsai wiring sizes so she can pop a label on her bonsai wiring stuff.

Ha ha .... I cut 50 off 20 x 60 x 0.5 mm of these tags as I was also asked , " Can you do some more blanks for labeling the rest of my bonsai trees please ?

Normal work project abandoned for the duration till 19:00 hrs tonight I'll play at making the syringe when it's cooler .

3 hr later One happy honey trap , no sharp edges on any of the tags & one soaking in sweat man cupboard man with a clean bench once again. Temp in the mancupboard now 29 .7 oC @ 16:00 hrs ........ way to warm as it's also very humid .

I went to tap an 8mm hole in an alloy casting , boat exhaust , turns out it was full of grip fill , so two mins later and a tap straight through an open casting ,,, it was bottles of beer and a burger then off sailing for the rest of the day , just for giggles ,,,


oh , Im single. ...... You know what they say about sailing , the best way to enjoy it is on some one elses boat.. I kind of feel the same about wives ...bit like elephants really , great to look at from time to time but would you really want one in the front room all the time.

Ill duck now from the incoming from those who dare not agree.
