Catalogue returns??

although I did a repo at a local engineering shop , and there was a pallet full of angle grinders ,,,, I grabbed half a dozen of my favorite branded ones ,, long story short all they needed was brushes or leads replaced ,,, the guys working there just threw them in the corner when they stopped working and got another , usually a cheaper brand by the look of it , but it was more cost effective to get another and keep working than to stop and start to fault find ,,,, fly off brushes are a god send some days ,,,

I worked at a place that sent out a few thousand "dog leads with a built in torch" as gifts to customers.
Most were returned as faulty 'cause the torch didn't work.
We soon found we'd been supplied with torches that had no batteries fitted. An easy fix!

A nipper that works here bids on palletised returns, most of it is just opened boxes and a change of heart by the purchaser. He does ok out of it.

I think it'll be important to buy direct and not through a middle man who's had his pick of all the best stuff and is passing on the junk
