Can anyone help. I'm looking for a castotig 2002 manual to buy. Unless anyone has 1, they can e-mail the pages to me.

Someone on here was looking for a manual for a 2002 a few months ago, do a search and try to find the thread. Don't bother ringing eutectic, they want an arm and a leg for one.

Last time someone was looking for a 2002 manual it was pointed out that the Fronius 2000 is virtually the same set, manual can be found here:-

They are quite a complicated set to use at first, most of the parameters are set using background menus which are accessed using the onboard torch controls. We have a (now redundant) 2002 at work but unfortunately don't have the manual for it.

Starting at the top......... The small silver knob controls slope out time and can be set to between 0.2 and 20 secs. The large knob on the left sets main welding current and the one to the right of it sets crater or final welding current when working in 4T tig mode. The switch to the right of these knobs selects operating mode ie, 2T Tig, 4T Tig, Lift Tig and Stick. Moving Down, the selector knob on the right selects either DC+ DC- or AC, when AC mode is selected then the two knobs on the left come into play, they set the AC balance and tungsten diameter preset.

Other parameters such as start current, pre and post gas, slope up time etc can be set in background menus, you would really need to consult the manual for these menus and how to set parameters.

Thanks, 4 the quick reply, & help on this. . I have a problem with it at the mo, keeps coming up with error. So far been told it's a relay. Can u tell me cheapest place, to take or send, to get it fixed plz?

Thanks 4 the phone number, i'll give them a ring. Most annoying part is, just paid out quite a bit for parts, it works 1 minute, , then comes up error number 2.

Finally got around to scanning my manual - its a pain that the manuals are so hard to find. I have the spare parts list for the CastoTIG 2002 welding machine and poor copy of the parts list for the G220 torch.
