Ive been offered one of these. The guy says he paid 3k for it years ago and has used it 5 times. It looks brand new. Is it worth buying, reliable and could I get spares for it if ever required?

Also, are they a good welder and are they sinewave or Squarewave?

Apparently its a rebadged Fronius if that helps.

Whats it worth?

Any help much appreciated.

Yes they are kinda Fronius, but a name in there own right......Think the technology is shared, parts are not a problem...top range machines

I have no ideas about the machine, but if its anything like the Magicwave Fronius, then it will just about any welding wave you wish A/C waveform being fully adjustable..

i set this unit up and it welds very nice on both steel and alu. Its a pain that the torch is so big and has no pedal but both can be retro fitted i guess.

I assume it is sinewave by the sound it makes. I have a used a couple of squarewave machines before and they seem to make a very different noise. There is no pulse on this machine. I think the guy will want about £750. Is it worth that in as new condition?
