Lad's Jazz doesn't have the little posts in the front footwells to stop the mats sliding and maybe impeding the pedals.

Thinking maybe to fit some rivnuts or similar through the carpet?

You can buy the plastic studs that screw through the carpet.

Same problem in my Mazda6 and the mats constantly slide around. I have asked at several car garages and mot guy just say new mats, but they are newish and I dont see any way for new ones to be held down.

Our car has factory clips and mats from new, after the mrs uses the car even on short journeys, I have to reclip the drivers mat in place, I'm sure practicing river dance while driving is illegal !

The reviews of the amazon clips are not great. If they dont work well I may get some large metal clothing poppers and sew them to the mats. Sewing in a car footwell wont be pleasant.
