I have a small face mill from banggood that I use in my little mill. It's ok for removing metal but not as good a finish as my flycutter.
I use solid carbide banggood end mills as reviewed by doubleboost. Theyre brilliant. I have up to 12mm in these.
I was thinking a 16mm end mill may be useful for general squaring up etc. Now I've heard a few people raving about Chinese insert end mills on here, so if I could get a two fluted one that took the same inserts as my 50mm face mill, that can cut on the edges as well as the face, apmt1604, then I would only have to keep this type, but why can't I find one (cheap) that uses these inserts?
