After spending 5 hours on Sunday cutting up a load of pallet wood with my Rage chopsaw in the freezing cold I was wondering if there is a better way of doing it?
The wood in question is the side bearers from 2 way pallets. 3x2 or even 4x3 - sometimes hardwood and studded with nails.
The trouble is if you hit a nail you are cutting it lengthways not through the narrow bit.
It would be so much quicker to attack a huge stack with a chainsaw but obviously you will hit many nails.
Are Carbide chains any good and will it last?
A pallet of the narrower stuff. Most of it is much thicker.
