Car window rubbers.

What do you all use to soften the rubbers either side of car windows as mine have started to miss a lot of water on both inside and outside.

On modern cars they dont even try to wipe the water, by design. What car is it?

Not sure if mine have a felt-like inner surface to the rubbers but, whatever it is, it seems to become hard and crusty with algal growth, so it gets an occasional wetting, followed by use of a stiff bristled brush, followed by a softer taper-bristled brush. I'm intrigued by the Gummi Pflege product. The main active ingredient has some interesting chemistry.

I just googled it and it is available in the UK.
I used to know a guy who was a rep for innotec and he supplied all their products and it was good gear, some of which we're still using.
