Car transporter hire needed.

I am need of a Car Transport service from Manchester M264HU to Nottingham NG166JA for an Jaguar X type Estate asap. message me please if you have one VAT registered or know of one.

It is going from my home to the dealer to be fixed.....

I know the dealer is useless and has been looking for a way to get it to him for the last week and is unable to lol, ye right. i found him one in half hour at £180 but thats to much he says. got another at £150 for him today to see what he says, just trying a few more so if anyone knows of anybody VAT registered let me know please.

I'd be writing him a letter: "refund within 14 days, or I'll send you another letter initiating court action - the car can be collected at your convenience, after 14 days storage fees of £50 per day will be accrued. If this matter goes to court, I will also seek statutory interest of 8% from the initial sale date."

Don't forget to add £20 per letter, plus £18 per hour for your time dealing with it - all at 8% interest.

Sounds like you’ve had issue after issue.

Personally, I’d be ringing the finance company and telling them you’re stopping payments, as the MOT certificate isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.

I’d never spent more than £1200 on a vehicle, until I bought my van secondhand, 08 plate, 270k, filly serviced and maintained by Mercedes, and so far I’ve put another £2k into a £4K vehicle. I’ve spent less on my last 4 cars combined.. Just goes to show you don’t get what you pay for

All sorted folks, i found a few and gave him the prices all between £150 and £200 and the companies wold of billed the dealer.

So after i said i was going to do this he suddenly arranged a trade plate chap ( £72 and mine was £84 for the TP collection ) to collect it tomorrow, how things can change quickly when they think they are getting billed at a higher rate than they can REALLY do.

Anyway still not holding my breath if to will be fixed to the agreed standard and returned before next Wednesday.

He will not reply to emails and just work over the phone. The finance know of the problems from the start and agree to start with a formal complaint when i am ready on the say so which i will be if it isnt collected tomorrow.

I have marked all the engine service parts and pump, taken pictures of all the engine to see if they actually do work on it and not ares about, along with it is returned with minimum recon`d parts guarantee as agreed. aswell as the oil seal done and warranty given for what its worth. Just cant see if they have flushed the fuel system. Only way is when i have done say 500 miles check the fuel filter is clean still.

Is it a diesel X Type ? Neighbour had an 08 reg, 2.2L immaculate,low miles, one local elderly owner etc but he ended up getting rid after a few months due to so many engine problems. He previously had an earlier diesel with the 2.0 engine and that was trouble free. The 08 also needed welding for MOT.

i doubt he will stick with his word though and do as requested that needs doing. if not then he can keep it.

The dealer is getting a TP driver on it, well already has.

and if it does implode its insured anyway lol.

Yes it is a 2.2D, i have been told, which i believe true the 2.2 are the better of the two.

so it has gone to the dealer now, went this morning so lets see what happens next.

I am still looking for a new car, I love Alfa`s but we all know about them, dam good looking cars though. I reckon if not anothe rX Type its a Volvo V50 unless i find a V70 in my price range.

I really need it on finance as the money i have saved is needed ` maybe ` for late this year if i get the job i am hoping for..
