The sort of thing that gives 240v out put from a 12 v supply

My Insignia had one fitted from factory with a standard 3 pin socket at the rear of the centre consol. Was very hand to have on board

I need one for charging camera batteries etc when on the move, nothing major

Anyone know anything about these or better instead recommend me one ?

Be good if it just plugs into ciggy lighter as I'm scared of touching electrics, heard some horror storeys about having to have car on the diagnostic if battery is disconnected

Have a ciggy lighter one in the garage unused boss. Il check it works and it's yours if you want it. Used it when my old van was part camper.

Sounds good to me boss. Il pull it out and test it. Probably used it ten times. Mostly to charge my dewalt radio when I was living on the beach every weekend.

Gotta have tunes on the beach.

From memory it was 500w
