Car lower control arm adjuster material

Im building Car lower control arm I need to make a adjuster that will be welded to the rest of the arm.i want the ajuster material to be strong as it will be threaded but also needs to be weld any thoughts on material thanks

most people use rose joints

The adjuster will be welded then a threaded bung then a rose joint
