Car headlight bulb holder

I need to attach The three wires back into this holder, however I can’t remove the copper connectors. Does anyone know how to remove them without damaging them? You can see the short bits of wires to the left of the photo where I cut them off. I need to remove these first before I can refit the wires.
reattaching the wires would be easy if I knew how to get the copper connectors out.

A suitable terminal removal tool poked in and under the flat part of the connector from the front. You can buy them or use a very small standard bladed screwdriver.

Is there a tab holding it in?

As I remember, yes. At least it was on the ones I did years ago.

I had a go with a small screwdriver but won’t budge. Here’s a picture of the underside. There’s a couple of holes.

It’s a reasonably generic connector for a H7 - can you get one off a scrapper and cut the wires long when you do so?

Google may assist with how you release the connector but as @cheb you normally poke a tool in to depress a tang

I’ve been trying for the last couple of hours but getting nowhere. I think you are right, that there must be a tang but I can’t find it.
I got this light from a scarp yard (£60) . I installed it on the car, but when I took it to get the headlights aligned for mot, the adjustment on the light wouldn’t work. I then cut of the socket (the one you see in the picture ) to try it in my original light.
to cut a long story short, I now need to reattach the bulb socket holder back on so I can take it back to the scrapyard , otherwise I will be out £60.

Ah ok. This one is generic not a CEMM one.

But it shows the tang. Just.

I managed to get the terminals out. In the photo above, you can see two holes on the underside of the bulb holder. You push a small flat bladed screwdriver in through the hole and push against a tang which releases the terminals. I thought those holes must be there for a reason.
