what manufactures keep the same gearbox bellhousing pattern on their engines?, for RWD

sounds like mine ent to replace front chassis rail only to find a previous patch on the middle cross brace was because the animal who replace the end part had cut it 8mm to small leaving a 'v' gap hidden by the chassis rail (so right next to the torsion bar)

Can you not make a sleeve inside the rail and plug weld it?

considered that, but both ends of the middle support have gone again i was going to repair but i have just seen a patch on the other side behind that front chassis rail. check my gallery

Ford Zetec mated to a type 9 box fits Im lead to believe. Its what they put in the Caterhams? Mark Evans did it in a Race car is born.

That'll be the ones from the PRV agreement. Because of design costs, renault, peugeot and volvo got together and pooled design resources, so the volvo/peugeot and renault v6's were all the same. They did the same for big vans with renault, fiat etc and my t35d is cursed with a motor by SOFIM (society of french and italian manufacturers)..
