Now James, remember that aluminium wire is much lighter, 5kg will be a lot, bigger than the equivqalent of 5kg of steel.
Iirc, a 15kg(size/steel) weighs about 6/7kg in aluminium.
So if you want a spool to go in a small machine you may well need to be looking for about 2kg of wire.
