(title should say bolt, not nut!)
I'm a novice with my welder so forgive me if this is a daft question. I have 4 ports on an aluminium cylinder head that I need to block off. I've only ever welded with steel before. I have .6mm steel wire with argon mix gas. I'm wanting to fit some M8 bolts which are a decent fit and run a bead of weld to seal up the holes. Is this possible? Can I do it with steel wire?
