Nor me, it'll save you lots of money and gain you lots of experience . Plenty of advice on here about welding stainless, It's only 2mm so you should be able to get good results.
There's also no need to start 3 threads with the same query, every question gets answered................. eventually .
i had been advised to go with a tig welder, my technician at uni thought i might just go straight through the stainless with a mig. I must admit my skill level is beginer so i'm a little put off by the whole "burning a hole in the stainless" comment he made! As i'm really up against it time wise i really would like to use whichever welding process is going to require the least cleaning afterwards, I'm not lazy just pushed for time
